Billing

Refunds & Cancellation

We'd rather you decide Rhodes is worth paying for than discover you're stuck with it. Here's exactly how billing, cancellation, and your documents work.

Your trial

Rhodes is free for 30 days. You'll enter a card at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial — and you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancel before day 30 and nothing is ever charged. If you don't cancel, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends.

Thirty days is enough to decide with your own documents in front of you — your entities organized, your deadlines on a calendar, your questions answered — rather than from a demo.

And if you cancel and later change your mind, you have 30 days from the end of your access to come back — subscribe within that window and you pick up exactly where you left off, with everything still there.

Plans and billing

Monthly plans bill each month. Annual plans bill once a year, charged in advance for the year ahead.

Founding members — anyone who subscribes during early access — keep their founding rate for as long as they keep their subscription, whatever we charge later.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@rhodesoffice.ai. There's no phone call, no retention script, and no form designed to make it difficult.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription stops renewing
  • You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for
  • Nothing is charged again

Refunds

Subscription payments are not refundable, and cancelling stops your next renewal rather than refunding the term you're in.

We want to be straightforward about why. Most software gives you a week or two to decide and then offers a refund window as the safety net. We've done it the other way round: the free trial is the safety net. By the time anything is charged you've had a month with your real documents, your real entities, and your real deadlines. That's a far better basis for a decision than a refund policy is.

If something has gone wrong on our end — we've charged you in error, or the service hasn't done what we said it would — that's not a refund question, it's us fixing our mistake. Email support@rhodesoffice.ai and tell us what happened.

Your documents after you cancel

This is the part most companies leave vague, so we'll be specific.

For 30 days after your access ends, your data is still here and you can ask for it. Email support@rhodesoffice.ai and we'll send you an export of your documents and the structure Rhodes built from them.

After 30 days, your documents and the data extracted from them are deleted. That deletion is permanent — we can't restore an account after it completes, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than discover it together later.

If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email support@rhodesoffice.ai and we'll process it within 30 days.

Coming back

You're welcome back any time, and if you return within 30 days of your access ending, everything is still where you left it.

Your founding rate, though, is tied to being a member. It holds for as long as you keep your subscription, at whatever we charge later — but if you cancel, it ends with the subscription, and you'd return at the rate we're charging then.
